Salut,

http://play.eslgaming.com/join_team/?teamid=9134288&joinpw=sucetonslip

1. General
1.1. League Administration

The Battlefield league administration and their Referees have the right to decide outside or even against the rulebook in special cases to guarantee fairplay.

1.2. Agreements
Certain agreements between participants are allowed to slightly differ from the ESL rules. Agreements that differ greatly from ESL rules are however not allowed. Please note that the ESL rules were made to ensure a fair match for all participants. You are not allowed to file a protest after the match if you think that the agreements made before the match in the end resulted in a disadvantage for your team.

Rules that can be changed with agreements are explicitly stated. Rules that do not explicitly state they can be changed by agreement, cannot have agreements made.

All arrangements between participants made in addition to the ESL rules have to be written down in the match comments. The other participant has to confirm the arrangements also in the comments. To avoid abuse of the edit function, a third comment must be written.

Please also keep screenshots and/or logfiles of your arrangements. If you do not fulfil these requirements, any protests or supports concerning arrangements will be rejected.

The following rules may never be changed by arrangement:

Entering results for matches that have not been played
Allowing players to play that are barred because of penalty points, or are barred in the league due to a ban
Allowing players to play in leagues with premium requirement that are barred for not having Premium
Allowing players to play without Wire Anti-Cheat

1.3. Cheating
Players caught cheating will be penalized with 12 penalty points and a 2 year barrage (plus, if necessary, 6 additional penalty points for the team account).

1.3.1. Illegal programs and configuration modifications
Each game or controls configuration, graphic or display modification that can’t be done through the ingame options menu is not allowed. (e.g. ultra low textures, no smoke/dust, nametags, no plants etc.). All sorts of such disallowed modifications through the configurations or third party programs will be punished with 12 penalty points (2 years barrage). All other hacks or cheats will be punished with a 2 years barrage. New programs and/or modifications are forbidden, as long as they are not specifically listed as legal. For example the change of client sided core game files to influence the game on the server will be seen as cheating/hacking and punished with 12 penalty points (2 years barrage).

To bust such cheats/hacks we will e.g. use information out of ESL Wire Anti-Cheat and Punkbuster.

1.3.2. Scripts and Macro Use
All scripts, macros and changes to the game's configuration are not allowed, unless they are specific allowed by this rules. Programs and macros that provide an advantage during game play (e.g. drivers that allow the removing of walls, single shot macros, etc.) are forbidden. Any programs that change the game itself are forbidden. The following results are listed to clarify some of the not allowed macros/scripts:

no recoil or recoil control macro/script/configuration modification
single shot macro/script
aimassist/aimbot through config modifications/programs/macros/scripts
auto reload script/macro
auto revive script/macro
auto spotting script/macro

1.3.3. Rehabilitation
Nevertheless first offenders willing to intensively deal with their situation can get a second chance. More information about the cheater rehabilitation can be found here: play.eslgaming.com/rehab.

1.4. Casting and Streaming
Free Spectator slots on the server not protected by a Spectatorlist are forbidden. Only official ESL Casters or Referees are allowed to spectate a match! The official Spectator list can be found here.

1.4.1. Casting
Casting an ESL match is only allowed when both Teams agree. However the League Administration can assign the coverage rights to Casters and therefore the match can get casted/streamed without the agreement of the two Teams. In general, the ESL will contact any player or team if there match will get casted/streamed.

1.4.2. Personal Streaming
Personal Streaming of your own PoV is always allowed if ESL TV is not casting a match. If ESL TV is casting a match, personal streaming is not allowed without an admin agreement. Personal Streaming of a match shown by ESL TV, without permission from am ESL admin, can lead into a disqualification of the team or ban of the streaming player in the tournament.

2. Matchmedia
All match media (screenshots, demos, etc) must be kept for at least 14 days. In general, you should upload the match media from a match to the match page as soon as possible. Faking or manipulating match media is of course forbidden and will result in severe penalties. Match media should be named clearly based on what it is. It is not possible to file a protest or write a support ticket to complain about bad match media naming. However, if an admin is hindered in his work because of bad match media names, penalty points can be assigned.

2.1. Screenshots
An admin may extend the upload period of the following matchmedia in special cases.

It is the responsibility of both sides to ensure all screenshots are uploaded to the match page within 24 hours of the end of the match. Screenshots must be uploaded in the following format: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .bmp

2.1.1. Score screenshot
A screenshot of the scoreboard at the end of each half must be taken and uploaded to the match page within 24 hours.

Example of a correct screenshot: Correct #1 and Correct #2

Example of a incorrect screenshot: Incorrect #1

2.1.2. Missing Screenshot
A missing screenshot can lead to penalty points for each team/player and the match may be deleted. The minimum of 1 penalty point for each team / player can be given.

3. Rules for 5on5 Rescue
3.1. Bug Use

Any sort of bug use is not allowed. Also not known bugs are forbidden in the first place until they are listed in the rules to be allowed.
Positions are forbidden where textures disappear in walls or grounds if a special movement (e.g. a jump) is required.
Using such forbidden position will result in a -1 Round punishment for the round it was used.

3.2. Mappool
Bank Job
Derailed
Downtown
Dust Bowl
Everglades
Growhouse
Hollywood Heights
Riptide
The Block

3.3. Perks/Unlock/Weapon Restrictions
The following Perks/Unlock/Weapon are banned and can not be used:

K10
AKM

All Shotguns
All Battle Rifles (DMR's)
Defibrilator
Survivalist
M320/M79

Sabotage
Incendiary Device
Battle Pickups
Grappling Hook
ALL DLC/Deluxe/Pre-order weapons/gadgets
Only 1 Professional (Sniper) per Team allowed
Please note that gadgets like Zipline are free to use when you equip them on yourself, not as a Battle Pickup!

If your opponent has used these unlocks in a match, make a screenshot of the kill message, showing your enemy using it. And open a protest to find a solution.

The use of forbidden unlocks will be punished as following:

Major Ladder and Open Leagues (Premierships): -2 Rounds on the half and per player who used it. If it was used several times the punishment can be higher!

Open Ladder: match deletion if the winning team has used it

Cups: default lose

Penalty points can be given in all Leagues and Cups.

3.4. Forbidden Roofs
On certain maps roofs will be forbidden, the red areas are restricted and are not allowed to be entered.

Derailed: This Roof is forbidden.

Riptide: This Roof is forbidden.

Dust Bowl: This Roof is forbidden.

Everglades: This Roof is forbidden.

Growhouse: This Roof and this Roof is forbidden.

Downtown: This Roof and this Roof is forbidden.

Use of this will result in -4 rounds per use in Open Ladders, Major Ladder and Open League (Premierships). In cups it means DEFLOSS. Penalty points can be given.

3.5. Choice of side - Repair Tool Round
To determine which Teams starts as Cops or Criminal a Repair Tool Round will be played. All 10 players spawn as Mechanic equipped with a Repair Tool and meet in the middle of the map. The target is to eliminate the other Team with the Repair Tool. The winner can decide on which side they want to start. Kills with any other weapon than the Repair Tool will result in an automatic lose of the Repair Tool round. If more than one map (Bo2, Bo3, Bo5) gets played, the repair tool round will be played at the begin of each map to determine which Team starts on which side.

3.6. Scoring and Match results
3.6.1. Best of One (Bo1)

One Map will be played. Two halftimes will be played on a map. After the first half is over the teams get switched (automatically) and you play the second round. Each round win of both halftimes count for the end result. The team that gained the highest amount of won rounds in both halftimes wins the match/map.

3.6.2. Best of Two (Bo2)
Two Maps will be played. Two halftimes on each map will be played. The won rounds of all 4 halftimes count for the end result. The team that gained the highest amount of won rounds after the 2 maps wins the match.

3.6.3. Best of Three (Bo3)
Up to three maps will be played, here the map wins count. The team that gained the highest amount of won rounds in both halftimes of a map wins the map. The Team which wins 2 maps will win the match overall.

The procedure for Mapveto's in case there are no preset maps you will find in the quickrules on the Cup info page!

3.7. Overtime
In general a draw is a draw in Open Ladder, Major Ladder and in Premierships (Open Leagues), only in Cups (elimination matches) an Overtime will be mandatory. However when both Teams agree an Overtime can be played in an Major Ladder, Open Ladder or Premiership (Open League) Match. Opening a protest afterwards complaining about the overtime is unsportsmanlike behavior and will be punished as such.

3.7.1. Overtime Procedure
In case of a 10-10 draw after 2 halftimes of a map an Overtime will be played. Not the last remaining round after the server restarts for the 3rd halftime! 4 new Rounds will be played but now with 3 rounds need to win (ROUNDS TO WIN: 3). You can just change the value on your serversettings and retart the round. After 2 rounds the sides get swapped (halftime). The Team who won the Repair Tool Round earlier will also decide which side they want to start in case of an Overtime. If again a 2-2 draw happens the server round will be restarted manually and Teams will continue to play overtimes until a winner has been found (again 4 new rounds with ROUNDS TO WIN: 3)

3.8. Serversettings
The server settings must be checked before the start of the match and may only be contested if they were changed during the match. A protest because of wrong server settings after the match took place will be rejected!

4. Match rules
4.1. Before the match
4.1.1. Server choice

The ESL does not supply servers for matches, players and teams must provide their own and come to an agreement with their opponent as to which to use. The purpose of this rule is to determine which server is going to be used, if you can not agree on one.

4.1.1.1. Server Regions
Each Cup, League and Ladder inlcuding a specific region such as Europe, Ocenia or North America in the Cup Name or Cup URL will be treated as regional Tournaments where the server has to be from this region. So for example the Go4BF4 Europe Cups the server has to be hosted in Europe. Only when both Teams agree a server outside of the stated region is allowed to be used. Cups, Leagues and Ladders without a specific region in the name are considered to be global and the server rule "Tiebreaker" will be used!

4.1.1.2. Tiebreaker
If both players/teams should have equal servers as defined previously in this rule, the match is going to be split over two servers. The server of the player/team which is on the left side in the match sheet will be used for the first half of the match. The other server for the second half of the match.

4.1.1.3. Ping
The internet is changing continuously and the connection to a server is not always perfect. Players and teams have to agree on a server that offers both sides an equal ping. Nevertheless every player should know, that they will sometimes have to play with a bigger ping difference. In this case we have to appeal to the sportsmanship and fairness of the players and teams. The right to change server does not exist.

4.1.2. Warmup
Before the start of the match, both teams must state that they are ready to start the match.

4.1.3. Number of players
A match can only start when the following minimum number of players are available:

2on2: only 2on2 is allowed. 3on3: only 3on3 is allowed. 5on5: 4on4, 4on5 and 5on5 is allowed. 8on8: 7on7, 7on8 and 8on8 is allowed.

If one player in a team is missing the team can nevertheless play the match. The opposing team can decide freely whether they want to play with all players or with one player less as well.

Only players who were in the team at the initial play-date are allowed to play in the match. New players have no permission to play the match, except the opponent teams explicitly grants it.

This rules only relates to the number of players which have to be available at match start.

4.2. During the match
4.2.1. Match Procedure

Depending on the match format, check the quickrules for more infos for each Cup/League!

In general both teams play one map with two rounds, one round on each side.

4.2.2. Choice of side
The team on the left side of the match page can pick the side for the first round in Conquest! The Rescue mode has an own rule for the side choice, so check the specific Rescue Rules!

4.2.3. Server crash
If a server crashes during a round, then the round has to be restarted or when both Teams agree you can start from the tickets which both Teams had at the time of the server crash.

4.2.4. Player drop
If a player drops before the first kill has been made, the match will be restarted. If a player drops after the first kill has been made then the match will continue and the player has to rejoin as soon as possible.

4.2.5. Change of players
Players can be changed at any time but the opposing team has to be informed in advance. The old player need to drop and the new one can connect afterwards. The new player has to fulfill all requirements and has to be eligible to play in the match.

4.2.6. Match result
When the match is over enter the result and/or confirm the match. For each mode you can find the topic "Scoring and Match results" for more Information about the scoring and end results.

4.3. After the match
4.3.1. Right to write a support ticket/file a protest

Only players/teams involved in a match are allowed to write a support ticket or to file a protest.

4.3.2. Game abort
If a team aborts a match before it is finished, a win may be granted to the remaining team if the match advanced to a point where the end result can be determined. If your opponent should deliberately leave the match, you must definitely file a protest. You are not allowed to enter a result yourself. This can be penalized as a fake result.

5. Open Ladder Specific Rules
5.1. Challenging

In a Open Ladder any participant may challenge any other. The challenge may be refused by the challenged if they choose. In Open Ladder with more than 20 participants compulsory challenges are activated. If a participant is within 20 places above the challenging participants the refusal will be punished with 1 penalty point. If both participants are in the top 10, the refusal will be punished with 2 penalty points.

A challenging participant from the newcomer pool (unranked) is considered as being at the bottom of the Open Ladder, therefore the 20 participants ranked last in the ladder would be punished for rejecting a challenge.

Participants that have more than 5 outstanding challenges in a Open Ladder, no matter if the matches are confirmed or not, may not take on any further challenges. This is scripted into the ESL system and cannot be changed.

Not answering a challenge and the challenge runs out after 7 days will be treated as rejections and Penalty Points can be given if it was a compulsory challenge.

Once a challenge is created you can also use the Match Chat to contact your opponent.

5.2. No show
If your opponent does not show after 20 minutes in the Open Ladder, you must enter the result as your opponent did not appear in time. Do not enter a default win for yourself.

In Instant Challenger matches the no show time is 10 minutes.

5.3. Deadlines
open a protest: within 24 hours after the match finished.

Note: If the match is already closed you are not allowed to file a protest (exception: cheating)

5.4. Servers
The ESL does not rent any servers for a cup (exceptions will be announced in the cup news). If you and your opponent do not have a server, please open a protest. In general both of you will be disqualified.

5.5. New players
All members who joined a team before the official match date are allowed to participate in those matches as long as they fulfill all restrictions.

5.6. Disqualification from Open Ladder
If a player of a team or the team itself in the Open Ladder will be caught of Cheating, Ringing, Faking, Manipulation of matchmedia or Fakematches and punished, then this will result in an immediate disqualification from the Open Ladder Ladder. Additional all matches of the past 6 weeks will be deleted.

5.7. Leaving Open Ladder
Every team can leave the Open Ladder at any time. If there are still open matches, then you have to play them first. Your points will be stored, so you will have the same points when you enter the Open Ladder again.

6. Penalty points
6.1. Penalty Point Catalogue

test test testIn general, a player and the team can receive up to 6 penalty points per match, unless a single violation has a higher punishment. A team is only punished once per violation, regardless of how many players. Where a player or team receives penalty points for multiple violations, the penalty points are added together.
